Our Doctor
Meet our doctor: Garmen Woo, MD
Dr. Garmen Woo was born in Oakland, California. She obtained her medical degree from Saint George’s University in Grenada and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California. Dr. Woo has been a practicing nocturnist for over 10 years and is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Her dedication to MeRT® is underscored by her personal experience: her own son underwent MeRT® for autism, which profoundly impacted her understanding of the therapy’s potential. This firsthand experience has enriched her approach, allowing her to empathize with patients and their families while advocating for evidence-based, compassionate care. Dr. Woo combines her clinical expertise with this personal perspective to offer tailored, effective treatment plans aimed at optimizing brain function and improving quality of life.
